The red highlighted building is the Service Memorial Institute - SMI for short - where I spend 40+ hours a week.  It's at the back of the Memorial Sciences Center which is the old UW Hospital building. 

The black dot is approximately where my office is located.  The "x" in front of the building is my bus stop.  The University gives its employees free annual bus passes to cut down on people driving to campus and trying to park.  It is a wonderful perk that allows me to spend the commute zhen-ing out to dharma talks and not fighting traffic....  Mary
