The furnace was fixed under warranty.  I found the original email order for the kitchen blinds so I could order the exact same blind in the exact same color.  Rick picked me up from work, so no bus drama.  And we got electronic photos of the new baby!  Mary

After work, I watched my connecting bus pull out from the bus stop as the first bus pulled up meaning a 32 minute wait for the next one.  Got home and went to close the kitchen blinds, one of which proceeded to break.  Thought it was cold in the house, so I turned up the furnace which is not working despite having been cleaned and checked two weeks ago. 

None of this matters at all because my niece safely gave birth to her beautiful little daughter this morning.  I better get quilting....  Mary

We are having the carpet cleaned on Friday, so no quilting until after that.  Putting things away so the cleaners can deal with all the traffic patterns.  Have I mentioned how much I dislike wall-to-wall carpet.  But what are you going to do when it's tacked down to your floor?  Mary
