March 28

My sister-in-law, Katie, recommended Saving Mr. Banks as a delightful movie.  She was absolutely right....  Mary

March 27

A near major disaster at the end of the day, so handed it off to people higher up the pay scale and headed out for a three day weekend.  Not my problem as of 4:30 pm....  Mary

March 24

Today at work someone did a truly dumb thing.  I spent half of my day trying to undo it.  They don't pay me enough....  Mary

March 23

Being in the studio each day is the goal, so spring cleaning counts....  Mary

March 19

Poor Monster had to go to the vet today for his annual check up.  Oh the death!  Oh the dying!  Oh the inhumanity.  He was, however, just fine and had even put some weight on his scrawny little frame....  Mary

Too tired from moving days at work to think of anything more creative than more beading....  Mary

March 11

I have probably written about the neuron ceiling in my new office hallway already, but it is the best thing about the whole building.  It is probably 15 feet long, and I guarantee that you cannot be grumpy while looking at this ceiling no matter how bad your day is going.  And it is just frosting on the cake that the ceiling is actually a fundraiser for epilepsy research....  Mary

Anne ordered a knit shirt for me with sequined polka-dots.  I haven't worn it yet, but I do find it amusing....  Mary

Years ago when Eileen worked at an antique store, she bought an octagonal stool from the 50s with wrought iron legs and a fabulous bark cloth cover.  It has spent the winter out on the screen porch, but I brought in back in on Friday.  It is a big favorite with all the cats....  Mary

The snow in our backyard has the most interesting mottled pattern.  The squirrels' path from tree to bird feeder is well worn....  Mary

One little rice chex.  Although after the dilly oyster crackers, nothing has quite measured up.  Better move on from food for awhile....  Mary
