Sleeping very badly this week, but there is a four day, alarm-free weekend coming.  Monster, of course, has been napping on a finished quilt top....  Mary

First messy snowfall of the year.  Roads were a mess on the way home.  Monster has chosen to spend the time safely ensconced in his bed.  Eileen has dubbed the new cat bed Fort Fuzzy Pants....  Mary

We had Eileen's in-laws over for dinner tonight.  CK, who is an MD and an accomplished painter, gave us a lovely painting as a gift.  Such delightful, thoughtful people....  Mary

It is unseasonably cold, January cold.  Duvy found the vent in the bathroom though, so all is well....  Mary

Monster is supervising everything from on high.  He looks a bit like an evil wizard cat, but he was just caught in mid paw grooming....  Mary

Monster is thinking about helping me sew.  It's not nearly as much fun when I'm only sewing blocks.  No quilt to sleep on while it's being quilted....  Mary

The baby quilt is finished and twice washed and dried.  It has that lovely quilty, bumpily texture now....  Mary

Baby quilt is finished.  Tomorrow I will wash it and box it.  Monday I can send it along to my grand little niece....  Mary

Managed to sew one side of the binding on the front side first and then had to remove it.  Oh well, it wouldn't be quilt without a little seam ripping....  Mary
