Anne and I do our errands together each week on either Thursday or Friday after work.  This serves several purposes.  First, we push each other to actually go do the errands and not put them off to, god forbid, the weekend.  Second, it saves gas since we would each go to the same places separately.  And finally, errands are really boring.  It's much less dull if there's someone to talk to while doing them.

After work, I take the bus from work to Anne's apartment.  Whoever is less tired and cranky drives.  We make a loop around the west side trying to be as efficient as possible in our route.  Tonight we only had a few stops so it went pretty quickly.  Other times, it can be quite a long evening.  But the most important stop each week is at Mounds Pet Food Warehouse for cat food since our supplies are running low, perish the thought....  Mary
