Rick is out at the Ding Darling Nature Conservancy for the fourth time today. When he left to go back out, he had at least 50 species of birds on his list that he had never seen before. Needless to say, he is in hog heaven.
There's even an osprey nesting next to our parking lot so all he has to do is walk out the door to see a large raptor. This morning I saw the osprey flying back from the beach with some sort of rodent in its talons.
This is the beach in front of our condo. It is, indeed, strewn with seashells as promised.... Mary
