Today at noon I closed priority enrollment on our giant class for the spring semester and activated the waitlist, then I paused to eat lunch.  When I went back to the waitlist forty-five minutes later, 91 students had placed themselves on the list.  Half of them then emailed me to make sure they were on the list.  By the end of the day, there were 112 on the list.  I'm cranky and grumpy and tired of really inane questions from students.

It supposed to be the season of ho, ho, ho and boughs of holly and all that stuff....  Mary
