Today's assignment was to draw something colorful.  This is the felted pincushion I bought like 20 years ago for $1 at a garage sale.  The pincushion is colorful, wooly and dense, and just weighty enough to not slide around when pins are being pushed into it....  Mary

Draw something fuzzy.  Since I've already drawn Monster, I decided to drawing his favoritest toy in the whole world.  These fuzzy, fluffy fur balls are Monster's opponents in epic wrestling matches.  Wrestling matches that frequently happen in the middle of the night. In the morning I can tell how tired Monster will be by how many of the fuzzy balls have moved around during the night.

Even though cats aren't supposed to see a full range of colors, Monster has a clear preference for the mustard colored balls.  There is, however, one snow white fuzzy ball that he likes to play with as well.  The white ball looks disconcertingly like a chunk has come off Monster himself when you come across it randomly around the house....  Mary
