Great crowd turned out for President Obama's speech today at the UW.  It was amazing to watch the throngs of people walking up Bascom Hill for the event.  Unfortunately, the whole thing broke up just as we were leaving work.  My dear friend JK and her partner pulled up and rescued me from the bus stop, and off we went for coffee.  Delightful outcome....  Mary
