Eileen bought a bowl of glass fruit at a resale shop several years ago.  The bowl has been in various spots around the living over the years.  There is something so appealing about the cool, smooth surface of the pieces....  Mary

Seven years ago we went to Arizona to visit Anne when she was in graduate school.  At a shrine we visited, I got some crepe paper flowers that I keep in a Madonna vase in my studio....  Mary

As an early birthday present, the girls got Rick and I tickets to see Chad & Jeremy, my favorite British invasion duo, in concert in a lovely club in Chicago.  We went down yesterday, saw the concert, and stayed overnight.  Rick was very sweet and patiently waited while I visited a couple of quilt stores on the way back....  Mary

Nearly four weeks ago Eileen's friend Ashley visited and brought us these lovely mums.  They still look as fresh as the first day and smell heavenly....
