All of a sudden, it has gotten very cold for September.  It was a high of 55 degrees today, and tomorrow night it will be in the 30s.  Poor Monster doesn't know what to do except hunker down and look pitiful.  Maybe I should make him a quilt....  Mary

A chilly breeze is blowing the quilt blocks on the design wall.  Today I had meetings pretty much from 10:30 to 5:30.  It is early to bed tonight for me....  Mary

Had to make Snickerdoodles tonight for a party at work tomorrow.  It's a fair trade off since one faculty our faculty members is bringing curried chicken.  Monster has been supervising from the rug by the kitchen door....  Mary

More rows laid out.  The pattern is more obvious in the photos than on the wall as I look at it.  Once all the rows are up, I can start moving the strips of three around to balance the nine patches....  Mary

JK and I spent the entire day at the Quilt Expo.  We had wonderful fun and got lots and lots of inspiration from the fabulous quilts....  Mary
