Rick, Anne and I went to see
Beasts of the Southern Wild today. We had really been looking forward to seeing it. Unfortunately, I had to leave in the middle of the film. Apparently I cannot watch movies shot with hand held cameras without getting very nauseous. This must be the first film I've seen on the big screen that was shot using this technique, and I simply could not finish watching it.
The portion I saw was amazing, and Rick and Anne both really liked the film. I'm hoping when it comes out on video that I can watch the second half of the film on a smaller screen without having the same problem.
